Welcome to lyricly. By downloading, installing, or using lyricly, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Use of the App
lyricly is a macOS app that displays synced lyrics for music currently playing in supported music apps such as Apple Music and Spotify.
You may use lyricly only in compliance with these Terms, applicable laws, and Apple's platform rules and policies.
You may not use lyricly to:
- Violate copyright laws
- Redistribute music or lyrics unlawfully
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the app except where permitted by law
- Interfere with the app's operation or security
2. Music Service Integration
lyricly works with playback from supported music services on your Mac, including Apple Music and Spotify.
lyricly:
- Does not provide music streaming
- Does not distribute music files
- Does not replace Apple Music, Spotify, or any other music service
- Does not claim ownership of third-party music or lyrics
Playback content remains subject to the terms of the relevant music service and applicable rights holders.
3. Intellectual Property
lyricly, including its design, branding, interface, and software, is owned by lyricly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
All third-party trademarks, including Apple Music, Spotify, Apple, and macOS, are the property of their respective owners.
4. Purchases
lyricly may offer optional paid features, upgrades, or subscriptions. All purchases are processed through Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms.
Unless required by law:
- Payments are non-refundable
- Pricing may change in future versions
- Purchased features are limited to the terms shown at purchase
5. Availability
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that lyricly will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
6. Disclaimer
lyricly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted operation
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, lyricly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
This includes loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profits.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to lyricly if you violate these Terms.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of lyricly after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
