Welcome to Lyricly. By downloading, installing, or using Lyricly on any supported platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before use.

1. Use of the App

Lyricly is available on macOS and iOS. It displays synced lyrics for music currently playing in supported music apps such as Apple Music and Spotify.

You may use Lyricly only in compliance with these Terms, applicable laws, and Apple's platform rules and policies.

You may not use Lyricly to:

  • Violate copyright laws or intellectual property rights
  • Redistribute music or lyrics unlawfully
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the app except where expressly permitted by law
  • Interfere with the app's operation, security, or integrity
  • Use the app for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose

2. Music Service Integration

Lyricly works with playback from supported music services on your device, including Apple Music and Spotify.

Lyricly:

  • Does not provide music streaming
  • Does not distribute or store music files
  • Does not replace Apple Music, Spotify, or any other music service
  • Does not claim ownership of third-party music or lyrics

Playback content and metadata remain subject to the terms of the relevant music service and applicable rights holders. Use of Spotify integration requires a valid Spotify account and is subject to Spotify's Terms of Service. Use of Apple Music integration is subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Lyrics

Lyrics displayed in Lyricly are sourced from third-party providers, including LRCLIB. Lyricly does not independently produce, verify, or license lyrics content.

Lyricly does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or legality of any lyrics displayed. All lyrics remain the property of their respective rights holders, including songwriters, publishers, and other copyright holders.

Lyricly is not responsible for any inaccuracies in lyrics content or for any claims arising from the display of third-party lyrics.

4. Pro Features and Purchases

Lyricly offers optional Pro features, unlocked through in-app purchases processed via Apple. The following purchase options are available:

  • Lyricly Pro Monthly - unlocks all Pro features for one month
  • Lyricly Pro Annual - unlocks all Pro features for one year
  • Lyricly Pro Lifetime - permanently unlocks all Pro features

All purchases are non-consumable items and are processed exclusively through Apple's payment systems, subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions. Pricing is displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

Restoring Purchases: If you have previously purchased a Pro plan, you can restore access using the "Restore Purchases" function within the app on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.

Unless required by applicable law:

  • All payments are final and non-refundable
  • Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via Apple's standard refund process
  • Pricing may be updated in future versions of the app
  • Pro features are subject to the terms shown at the time of purchase

5. Intellectual Property

Lyricly, including its name, design, branding, interface, and underlying software, is owned by Lyricly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

All third-party trademarks referenced in this app, including Apple Music, Spotify, Apple, macOS, and iOS, are the property of their respective owners. Lyricly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. or Spotify AB.

6. Platform Features

On iOS, Lyricly may use system features including Lock Screen Live Activities, Dynamic Island, and Home Screen Widgets to display lyrics. These features are subject to iOS system availability and may vary by device or iOS version.

On macOS, Lyricly may display a floating lyrics window and integrate with system-level playback detection.

We do not guarantee that any specific system feature will remain available across future OS versions.

7. Availability

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee that Lyricly will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or interruption to service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lyricly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or completeness of any content, including lyrics
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lyricly and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the app.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, business interruption, loss of profits, or any damages resulting from reliance on lyrics content displayed within the app.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Lyricly if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Lyricly after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
